About Leandro
Leandro Charanga
Cuban-born and world-shaped, Leandro Charanga began his dance journey in Havana at just eight years old, training for seven years with a leading Cuban company before qualifying as a teacher. In Cuba, he worked as a professional dancer, performer and choreographer, bringing vibrant Cuban styles such as Salsa, Rumba and Afro to life with heat and energy. His teaching also extends to Bachata, where he applies the same musicality, flow and expressive movement. Since arriving in the UK in 2007 - crowned the “Reggaeton King” - he has shared his passion internationally, helping dancers grow their skills, confidence and love for Latin movement.
